Payment options
Can I fly before the final instalment?
With an approved credit plan and an issued ticket, repayments can continue after your departure. Your agreement determines the payment schedule.
Is a flight quote a credit application?
No. Asking Travelcart for a quote does not apply for credit or guarantee approval. You complete the separate provider application if you choose to proceed.
Do credit checks apply?
Yes. Checks depend on the application and plan, and applying can affect your credit record. Read the provider's explanation before continuing.
Who decides whether I am eligible?
The provider assesses your circumstances and the criteria shown during the application. Travelcart cannot approve credit or override a decision.
Who helps with monthly repayments?
Use the account, app or support details in your payment agreement. Contact Travelcart for flight and ticket questions.
What if my application is declined?
You can ask us about paying in full or reviewing the itinerary. A declined application does not secure a ticket or extend a fare deadline.
Does a booking reference mean I have a ticket?
Not necessarily. A reservation can have a reference before ticket issue. Ask for your e-ticket confirmation and check the passenger and flight details.
Is a deposit the same as the first instalment?
No. A deposit is paid towards a booking; a credit instalment is paid under a finance agreement. Check which arrangement you are accepting.
Can I cancel my flight by cancelling the credit?
Do not assume one cancels the other. Contact Travelcart about the flight and your provider about credit. Withdrawing from credit can still require repayment of the amount borrowed.
Will requesting a refund stop my repayments?
Do not assume the schedule has changed until your provider confirms it. Ask us about the flight refund and follow the provider's instructions for the credit agreement.
Can Travelcart guarantee that a reservation stays available?
No. Reservation and ticketing deadlines depend on the fare and supplier. We explain the arrangements for your quote; complete the agreed steps within the stated deadline.
Which payment arrangement should I ask about?
Tell us your journey first. We can explain the flight and current payment options, so you can compare the total cost and decide what fits your circumstances.
Can I choose Klarna when booking with Travelcart?
No. Klarna is not currently a Travelcart checkout option. You can explore our available Super Payments route, subject to approval and terms.
Is Super Payments the same as Klarna?
No. They are separate providers with different applications and terms. Super's current official information identifies Abound as the provider of Super Credit.
Can Klarna be used for international flights?
Some travel sellers offer Klarna for eligible international bookings. Check the option offered by the seller you intend to use and its current conditions.
Are all pay-later flights interest-free?
No. Terms vary between providers and plans. Read the interest rate, total repayable and any charges before accepting an agreement.
Will an existing Klarna account help me get Super approval?
It does not guarantee approval. A different provider makes its own assessment using its eligibility and affordability criteria.
Can I get a flight quote before considering credit?
Yes. Send your airports, dates and passenger numbers. We can explain the itinerary and price before you choose whether to consider a payment application.
Booking smarter
Is the cheapest quote always the best value?
It depends on your priorities. An option with a bag included or a more practical arrival time may suit you better after you compare the whole journey.
Does a flexible fare mean free changes?
Not necessarily. Ask about change fees, fare differences and any restrictions before paying.
Can I send Travelcart another quote to compare?
Yes. Share the itinerary and what it includes, with personal or payment details removed. We can check what options we can offer for your journey.
Does one payment mean one protected connection?
No. Separate tickets can be sold together. Ask how the flights are ticketed and what arrangements apply if a connection is missed.
Will my suitcase go straight to my destination?
Sometimes, but it depends on the itinerary and local procedures. Confirm at booking and check the destination shown on the baggage tag at departure.
Is a longer connection always better?
Not always. Compare the total journey, overnight arrangements and your needs. A longer wait can be easier, but may introduce extra costs or entry requirements.
Is there one cheapest day to book every flight?
Do not rely on a universal day-of-week rule. Compare current options for your actual journey and decide against your budget and timing needs.
Will changing airports always save money?
No. Compare the complete cost and journey, including airport transport, baggage and any overnight stay.
Can Travelcart monitor prices automatically for me?
Our team checks options when handling your enquiry. For an automatic external alert, you can use a service such as Google Flights; it does not hold the fare or seat.
Before you fly
Do all economy tickets include checked luggage?
No. Check the specific fare. Economy cabins can contain several fare options with different inclusions.
Can we combine our family's luggage allowance?
Only if the airline's rules allow it. Check limits for each passenger and each bag rather than assuming a shared total.
Are baggage rules the same on a codeshare?
They can differ. Check the operating airline and the baggage conditions shown for your ticket, especially when the itinerary includes partner airlines.
Is my booking number the same as my ticket number?
Usually they are different. Check the labels on your confirmation. Your booking adviser can identify the correct reference for the airline's website.
Does a confirmed reservation mean my ticket is issued?
Not necessarily. Ask for ticketing confirmation rather than relying on the reservation reference or a payment screenshot alone.
What if I cannot find my e-ticket email?
Check your inbox and junk folder, then contact the company that booked your flight. If you booked with Travelcart, we can help locate the confirmation.
Does living in the UK mean I can use British-passport guidance?
No. Entry rules can depend on nationality and the travel document you hold, as well as residence status and itinerary.
Do I need a visa if I stay inside an airport?
Possibly. Transit requirements vary, including for some airside connections. Check the relevant government's rules for your circumstances.
Can Travelcart guarantee I will be allowed to enter?
No. We can help explain your itinerary, but the destination's authorities set and apply entry requirements.
Will our whole family automatically sit together?
Do not assume a particular seating arrangement. Check the airline's policy for children and whether specific seat choices need to be reserved.
What if a child has a birthday during the trip?
Mention it before booking. The age on each flight can affect the airline's ticket or seating arrangements.
Can I take a pushchair?
Many airlines accommodate pushchairs, but check the permitted type, allowance and collection point for your own flights.
Does a child travelling with one parent need extra documents?
The requirements depend on the circumstances and destination. Check GOV.UK parental-permission guidance and the destination's official rules before travel.
Is assistance only for wheelchair users?
No. It can also support passengers with reduced mobility or hidden disabilities. Explain your needs to the airline or airport.
What if my flight is less than 48 hours away?
Contact the airline or booking provider straight away. Ask what can be arranged and allow the extra time they recommend.
Does airport assistance include personal care onboard?
Not necessarily. Needs such as help with medication, eating or using the toilet require a separate discussion with the airline.
Can Travelcart help me request assistance?
Yes, tell us when discussing your Travelcart booking. We can help communicate the request and identify the confirmation needed from the airline.
At the airport
Can I check in online after booking through a travel agent?
Often yes, using the airline reference and surname. Some airlines or itineraries require additional verification; follow the airline's instructions.
Do I need a printed boarding pass?
It depends on the airline and airport. Use the format the airline accepts for your journey and follow any instruction to collect a pass at a desk.
Can I arrive later if I have checked in online?
Follow the airline's recommended arrival time. You may still need baggage, security or document checks, and the gate closes before departure.
Is the 100 ml liquid rule the same at every UK airport?
No. Rules have changed at some airports. Check your specific airport's current instructions and check the return journey separately.
Can I use Heathrow's liquid limit on my return flight?
Only if your return airport permits it. Heathrow's rule does not determine the rules at another airport.
Does a larger baggage allowance let me take restricted items?
No. An allowance describes permitted bags; safety and security restrictions apply separately to their contents.
Does every cancellation qualify for compensation?
No. Compensation depends on the applicable rules and circumstances, including notice and cause. Care and refund or rerouting rights are separate questions.
Should I keep receipts for meals or accommodation?
Yes. If you incur necessary expenses during disruption, retain itemised receipts and evidence of the assistance you requested from the airline.
Should I contact the airline or Travelcart?
Use the airline for immediate operational instructions and airport assistance. If Travelcart booked your flight, contact us about the booking and any changes being considered.
Destinations
Is Newark a useful alternative to JFK?
It can be. Compare both airports against where you are staying and the ground transport you prefer. Ask for JFK and EWR options, then weigh the complete journey and fare conditions rather than choosing on airfare alone.
Can I return from a different New York airport?
Tell us your preferred arrival and departure airports. We can check available combinations and explain any difference in fare or conditions. Check both airport codes before arranging transfers; a city name alone is not enough.
Do I need US permission just to connect there?
US transit can require an ESTA or visa even if you do not plan to leave the airport. Check requirements for your nationality and immigration status, including any requirements for children, instead of assuming that staying in an airport removes the requirement.
How do I get a current flight price?
Send your route, dates, travellers and baggage needs. Our team checks available options and explains the total fare and key conditions before you decide. No payment is needed to request a quote; fares and availability can change until ticketing.
Are IST and SAW the same airport?
No. IST is Istanbul Airport; SAW is Sabiha Gökçen. Ask us to compare the airport as part of your quote, especially if your accommodation or onward flight makes one more convenient than the other.
Can I include a few days in Istanbul on the way somewhere else?
Tell us the stopover dates and final destination before we quote. We can check a suitable itinerary and its fare conditions. Leaving the airport means your entry documents and accommodation plans also need to be considered.
Will a cheaper Istanbul fare include a checked suitcase?
That depends on the airline and fare. Tell us whether you need a suitcase, cabin bag or just a small personal item. Compare the final cost with your required baggage added, on both outward and return flights.
Can I land at BKK and fly onwards from DMK?
It may be possible, but it is an airport change rather than an ordinary terminal connection. Share both flights with us before booking and allow for immigration, luggage, ground transport and the onward airline's check-in deadline.
Should I buy my Thailand domestic flight separately?
Compare both arrangements first. A separate ticket can mean different baggage rules and less help if the inbound flight is delayed. We can explain how the available itinerary is ticketed so you can make an informed choice.
Can I add a Bangkok stop before continuing to the beach?
Yes, ask us to check flights around your preferred stopover dates and final airport. Tell us the baggage you will carry throughout; an onward sector may have a different allowance from the long-haul flight.
Can you compare Lagos and Abuja for me?
Yes. Tell us your final destination and whether both airports are practical for you. We can compare available flights; factor your onward transport and current regional travel advice into the final choice.
Can you look for flights with more checked baggage?
Tell us what you need to carry and we can prioritise suitable fare options. More baggage is not automatic on a Nigeria route. We confirm the included allowance and any additional cost before you decide.
What if my family needs different return dates from Nigeria?
Include everyone's travel dates and ages in your request. We can check the available booking arrangements and explain how differing return dates affect fares and conditions, including any parts of the journey travelled separately.
Is a flight to DWC the same as a flight to DXB?
No. Both serve Dubai but are separate airports. Check the code on every flight and transfer booking. Ask us to consider your accommodation area when comparing options so you can judge the complete journey.
Can I add a Dubai stopover to my return flight?
Tell us how many nights you want and your onward destination. We can check a suitable flight combination and its conditions. The flight quote does not automatically include accommodation, transfers or permission to enter the UAE.
Will I need to collect my luggage when connecting in Dubai?
This depends on your itinerary, airlines and ticket arrangement. Ask us to clarify the transfer and baggage process for the proposed flights. An airport change or separate ticket needs particular attention before you book.
How do I know which Delhi terminal I need?
Use the terminal details on your airline booking and recheck them close to departure. Delhi Airport's official terminal finder and transfer guide are linked below. A connection may need more than a short walk between gates.
Can you quote Delhi plus an onward Indian city?
Yes. Share the final city and your preferred dates, including any time you want in Delhi. We can check available combinations and explain whether the flights form one ticket or require separate arrangements.
Will my UK-to-Delhi baggage allowance apply to my domestic flight?
Do not assume so. Domestic fares and separately ticketed sectors can have different allowances. Give us your expected bags and weights so the full itinerary can be compared, including any extra baggage charges.
Which Rome airport has a train connection?
Fiumicino has rail links, including the Leonardo Express to Roma Termini and regional services. Use the official airport transport page to check the current route and timetable against your accommodation and landing time.
Can I arrive in Rome and fly home from another Italian city?
Tell us both cities and the dates you need. We can check available flight combinations and explain their conditions. Your travel between the cities is a separate part of the plan unless expressly included in your quote.
Is Ciampino just another Fiumicino terminal?
No. CIA and FCO are separate airports. Check the airport code before booking ground transport or combining flights, and do not treat travel between them as a simple connection within one building.
What airport code should I look for when flying to Barcelona?
BCN identifies Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport. If another code appears in a quote, check the airport's location and onward transport. Let us know whether your priority is Barcelona city or a different part of Catalonia.
Can I walk between Barcelona airport's T1 and T2?
Use the airport's official inter-terminal shuttle arrangements when moving between T1 and T2. Check the current guidance below and allow for that transfer; choosing the wrong terminal can eat into your check-in time.
Can you plan my flight around a Barcelona cruise?
Share the sailing date and required embarkation time before requesting the quote. We can compare flight timings, but airport-to-port transport and the consequences of a flight delay need separate consideration when deciding your arrival day.
How do I get to Lisbon Airport Terminal 2?
The airport's official guide describes the shuttle from Terminal 1. Confirm the current operating hours, your airline's terminal and the extra transfer time before departure. Public transport to the airport does not mean you have reached the T2 check-in desks.
Can I fly into Lisbon and return from Porto?
Ask us to check both cities with your intended dates. We can explain available combinations and fare conditions. Include the time and cost of travelling between Lisbon and Porto when comparing this with a return from the same airport.
What should I include in a Lisbon weekend flight request?
Share the earliest time you can leave, the latest time you need to be home and your baggage needs. Those details help us compare useful flight timings rather than offering a fare that leaves you very little time away.
How do I get from Pearson Terminal 3 to the train into Toronto?
The airport directs Terminal 3 passengers to take the Terminal Link train to Terminal 1, then follow the Train to City signs for UP Express. Check current transport information before travelling, especially for a late arrival.
Does Canadian entry permission cover a US connection?
No. The United States has its own transit and entry requirements. Check the official guidance for both countries using your nationality and circumstances; a route through the US should not be chosen on price alone.
Can you compare Toronto with another Canadian arrival city?
Tell us your full itinerary and where you need to finish. We can check available flight combinations, including a different return city. Include domestic travel, baggage and the time between flights in the comparison.
Can I ask for an Accra quote with extra checked bags?
Yes. Tell us the number of bags and approximate weight you expect to take. We can compare fare options and any extra-baggage cost, subject to the airline's rules, rather than assuming every Accra ticket includes the same allowance.
Can you consider an onward Ghana flight in the quote?
Share your final airport and intended dates. We can check available options and explain the ticket arrangement. Confirm the onward baggage allowance and connection requirements before buying a separate flight.
What details should I give someone collecting me at Accra?
Send your airline, flight number, local arrival date and confirmed terminal, then recheck the flight status before collection. An arrival late at night or after an overnight flight can make the date easy to confuse.
Is Wilson Airport part of Jomo Kenyatta Airport?
No. They are separate Nairobi airports. If you land at NBO and an onward booking departs from Wilson, you need to plan travel between them, including entry formalities, luggage and the onward check-in deadline.
Will a safari flight accept my long-haul suitcase allowance?
Not necessarily. Smaller aircraft can have different baggage limits and bag-shape requirements. Check the actual operating airline's policy for your route; an international allowance is not a promise that every later flight will accept the same bags.
Can you arrange flights around my existing Kenya itinerary?
Share your confirmed dates, onward airports and the latest practical arrival time. We can check suitable flight options and explain their conditions. Tell us which parts are already booked separately so connection risks are clear.
Can you compare Lahore flights from different UK airports?
Yes. Tell us which departure airports are realistic for you and whether your dates can move. We can check available options, then compare connections and baggage alongside the extra travel needed to reach the UK airport.
What if one family member returns from Lahore on a different date?
Include each traveller's dates and age when you enquire. We can explain the available ticket arrangements and conditions. Different return dates may require different fares even when everyone takes the same outward flight.
Can I choose a longer Lahore connection for a less rushed journey?
Tell us the connection length you are comfortable with and any assistance needs. We can check suitable options and explain airport changes, overnight waits or entry requirements that may matter for the itinerary offered.
Can I take a train from Málaga airport to the coast?
The airport is served by the C1 route between Málaga Centro Alameda and Fuengirola. Check the official airport transport page for current stops and schedules. For another resort, work out the additional journey instead of assuming it has an airport train.
Can you include golf clubs or other sports baggage in my quote?
Tell us the equipment, approximate weight and dimensions when you enquire. We can check the airline's policy and any charge for the proposed flights. Sports equipment is not automatically covered by a standard checked-baggage allowance.
Should I choose a late Málaga arrival to save on the fare?
Compare the saving with the cost and availability of transport to your final destination. Check accommodation arrival arrangements too. Tell us if a daytime arrival matters so we can focus the quote on practical options.
Is Colombo airport in the city centre?
Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) is at Katunayake. Plan a separate journey to your accommodation or next destination, and check the official airport transport information against your flight's local arrival time.
Can I plan a Colombo flight around an island tour?
Share the tour's first and last dates and the location where it starts and ends. We can compare flight options around those plans. Make sure the ground journey to and from CMB fits the itinerary you choose.
Where should I check Sri Lanka visa or ETA rules?
Start with the current FCDO entry-requirements page below and follow its official Sri Lankan government links. Rules depend on your passport and circumstances. Avoid relying on an old article or assuming a previous visit's permission still applies.
Is MMA2 the international arrivals terminal?
MMA2 is a domestic terminal. Do not use that name alone when arranging collection from an international flight. Send your driver the airline's current terminal information and LOS airport code before you leave the UK.
Can I add extra cases for a family visit?
Tell us the number and approximate weight of your bags when requesting a Lagos quote. We can compare the relevant fare allowances and extra-bag conditions, including any separate domestic sector, before you choose your itinerary.
Can I arrive in Lagos and return from Abuja?
Ask for both cities in the same quote request. We can check the available combination and explain its conditions. Your travel between Lagos and Abuja needs its own time, baggage and booking arrangements.
Should I choose Abuja or Lagos for this trip?
Use your actual destination to decide. If your plans centre on Abuja, compare ABV options first. A fare to Lagos adds another intercity journey, with its own cost, documents where relevant, and baggage arrangements.
Can my checked baggage continue beyond Abuja?
Ask before booking and check again at departure. Through-checking depends on the ticket and airline arrangements. Keep the bag receipt and verify its destination; a shared booking reference alone is not enough to establish the collection procedure.
What should I share for an Abuja work-trip quote?
Include the meeting date, preferred arrival buffer and whether the return date might move. Tell us about checked cases or equipment so you can compare baggage, change conditions and the total itinerary before committing.
Can I use a Dakar flight for a Saly stay?
DSS can be the arrival point, but arrange transport specifically to your Saly address. Compare the complete flight-and-transfer plan, including your return pickup time, rather than assuming a Dakar city transfer covers the coastal journey.
What if I am carrying surf or sports equipment?
Share the equipment's packed dimensions and weight when requesting a quote. Airline acceptance and charges need checking for every sector. Tell your ground-transfer provider as well; ordinary suitcase space may not suit a long equipment bag.
Can I book a later return from Senegal?
Give us both your preferred date and any flexibility. We can compare available fares and change conditions. Check the permitted stay for your own passport separately; a changeable airline ticket does not extend entry permission.
Does an Abidjan connection require a visa?
It depends on your passport and transfer arrangement. Confirm whether the itinerary keeps you in the transit area or requires entry to collect bags, change bookings or stay overnight. Check the applicable official rules before accepting the connection.
Can I take boxed gifts in my checked baggage?
Tell us the packed size, weight and contents before choosing a fare. Check the airline's packaging rules and Côte d’Ivoire's customs restrictions. An included baggage allowance does not make every item acceptable for carriage or import.
What should my airport collector know?
Send ABJ, the operating airline, flight number and local arrival date. Agree a clear meeting point and contact method. Keep enough flexibility for immigration, any visa collection and baggage reclaim before planning appointments in the city.
Is the airport a short drive from central Freetown?
The estuary makes the journey more involved than it looks on a map. The road alternative goes around it. Read FCDO's transport guidance and arrange the full transfer in advance, including your intended arrival time at the airport.
Does my airline baggage allowance cover the water taxi?
Do not assume it does. Confirm the transfer operator's bag limits, handling arrangements and any extra charges separately. Share your case count when booking the transfer, particularly for a family group travelling with gifts or equipment.
How should I plan my return flight?
Work backwards from airline check-in, then add the operator's reporting time, crossing and local pickup. Ask what happens if the water transfer is disrupted. Avoid treating the boat departure time as your airport arrival time.
Does booking a flight include my resort transfer?
Do not assume a flight quote includes ground transport. Ask what is included and arrange the journey to your named accommodation. Send your confirmed flight details to the person organising the pickup, including the local arrival date.
Should I budget for a payment at Banjul Airport?
Check FCDO's current airport-fee section before each trip. It explains arrival and departure payments and passenger exemptions. Plan for the relevant fee separately when comparing your overall trip costs, without relying on last year's amount or payment method.
Can I combine The Gambia with Senegal?
Tell us which country you want to enter first and where you want to fly home from. Check both countries' entry and health requirements, including the border crossing, before making separate transport or accommodation bookings.
Can I treat Yaoundé as another Douala airport?
No. DLA and NSI serve different cities. If both could work, ask for a comparison that includes the onward journey to your final address. Check airport codes before booking accommodation or arranging someone to meet you.
Will a Cameroon domestic flight include the same baggage?
That depends on its airline and fare. Share the domestic sector and packed bag weights before booking the UK journey. Ask where bags are collected and rechecked, particularly if you are considering separate tickets.
What matters for a late arrival in Douala?
Confirm that your host or transport provider expects the correct local arrival date and can accommodate delays. Save your contact details and meeting instructions offline. Leave space for entry formalities and baggage reclaim when agreeing a pickup.
What should I arrange before arriving at N’djili?
Agree a named collection contact, meeting point and route to your accommodation. Share the flight number, FIH code and local date, and save the details offline. Check current Kinshasa advice again close to departure because local conditions can change.
Can I take several cases on a Kinshasa booking?
Tell us your bag count and approximate weights when requesting a quote. We can check suitable fare options and excess-baggage conditions. If you are continuing within DRC, include that sector rather than applying the international allowance to it automatically.
What if my return date depends on family plans?
Ask us to explain the available change conditions before you choose a fare. Keep your visa permission and departure arrangements under review too. Flight flexibility does not remove official entry, stay or airport-payment requirements.
Can I use Gautrain after landing at JNB?
The airport has a Gautrain connection. Check current service times, your onward station and the last part of the journey with luggage before deciding whether rail suits your arrival.
Will my bag be transferred to a domestic flight?
Ask for the exact arrangements for your airlines and ticket. You may need to collect baggage and complete entry formalities before the next flight; an onward destination printed on a booking is not enough to confirm the process.
Can I return to the UK from Cape Town instead?
Share the dates you want in each city and your plans between them. We can check an itinerary arriving in Johannesburg and departing elsewhere, explaining the baggage and ticket conditions for the available combination.
Can I fly into Cape Town and return from Johannesburg?
Ask us to compare that combination using your actual dates in each city. Include any domestic flights and the baggage you will carry so the whole journey can be considered together.
Should I collect a hire car straight after landing?
Consider the arrival time, how rested you will be and the route to your first stay. Confirm the rental desk's arrangements and review the FCDO's specific airport driving guidance before choosing.
How do I compare Cape Town flight options?
Look at the local arrival date, total connection time and required baggage alongside the ticket conditions. Tell us about fixed hotel nights or events so the quote reflects the time you actually need in Cape Town.
Which Durban airport should I give my driver?
Use King Shaka International Airport, code DUR. Include your airline and flight number so the driver can identify the arrival and confirm where to meet you.
Can I add a Durban stay to a wider South Africa trip?
Tell us the cities, dates and intended transport between them. We can check flights arriving or departing in different cities, including the domestic sectors and luggage requirements that fit your plans.
Can I take a surfboard or other sports equipment?
Send the type, dimensions and weight before we quote. Each operating airline may apply its own acceptance and baggage conditions, and your ground-transfer vehicle also needs suitable space for the equipment.
Is HRE Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport?
Yes. Use both the airport name and HRE code on your transfer booking. Keep the local arrival date clear, since an overnight journey from the UK may land the following day.
Can I include another Zimbabwe destination?
Share every intended stop and any flights already booked. We can check a suitable arrival or return arrangement, while you confirm the road journey or separate domestic flight and its baggage conditions.
What baggage details help with a Harare quote?
Tell us how many checked bags each person needs, plus any oversized items. Compare the allowance across all operating airlines and in both directions, rather than assuming every sector follows the long-haul allowance.
Which Lusaka airport is used for this quote?
Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, code LUN, is the selected arrival. Give that code to your driver and check it against any separately booked onward flight before finalising transport.
Can I include Livingstone in the same trip?
