A Tunis flight is different from a holiday arriving through Enfidha or Monastir. Confirm TUN on the ticket and give your driver the full hotel or family address. For a stay around Carthage, Sidi Bou Said or La Marsa, agree the collection and destination details before leaving the UK.
Keep your arrival details accessible
Save your accommodation confirmation, host contact and onward or return booking offline. FCDO guidance notes that border officials can request evidence of where you will stay. If visiting relatives, clarify the address beforehand and allow time for arrival formalities before a fixed family event or onward transfer.
Check every traveller’s documents and bags
Tunisia’s entry rules depend on nationality and passport type. Check the current official requirements, including any provisions relevant to dual nationals or children. Can I book Tunis for a beach stay?
Yes, but send the hotel address first. A coastal stay near Tunis and a resort elsewhere in Tunisia can need quite different transfers, so compare the complete journey before choosing an airport.
Does living in the UK determine my entry rules?
Your nationality and travel document matter. Use Tunisian official guidance for your passport; do not assume guidance for British citizen passports applies merely because your flight departs from the UK.
Can my return flight use another Tunisian airport?
Tell us which airport and the final hotel location. We can check available flights and explain fare conditions, while you confirm the ground journey and the correct departure airport code.
