Make room for your Harare visit.

Family time, an important occasion or a wider Zimbabwe journey can make the arrival date especially important. Tell us when you need to be in Harare, who is travelling and what you are carrying. We can compare connecting itineraries around the visit you actually want to make.

Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport (HRE) is selected. Check the airport name and code when arranging your collection.

Before you book

Arrange the journey into Harare

Airports Company of Zimbabwe places Robert Gabriel Mugabe airport south of the city and lists taxis, shuttles and car hire. Agree your collection using the flight number and final address. Tell the provider about the group size and number of suitcases, especially for a family homecoming.

Give important occasions a little space

If attending a wedding, reunion or other fixed event, consider arriving before the day itself. Compare the full itinerary, including any long stop or overnight connection. Ask whether bags are checked through and whether a terminal change requires entering the transit country.

Match entry permission to onward plans

Read current Zimbabwe entry guidance for your passport and reason for travel. If the trip crosses into a neighbouring country and returns, check the number of entries needed and the specific border arrangements. Family connections or UK residence do not by themselves establish which immigration rules apply.

Questions and answers

Is HRE Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport?

Yes. Use both the airport name and HRE code on your transfer booking. Keep the local arrival date clear, since an overnight journey from the UK may land the following day.

Can I include another Zimbabwe destination?

Share every intended stop and any flights already booked. We can check a suitable arrival or return arrangement, while you confirm the road journey or separate domestic flight and its baggage conditions.

What baggage details help with a Harare quote?

Tell us how many checked bags each person needs, plus any oversized items. Compare the allowance across all operating airlines and in both directions, rather than assuming every sector follows the long-haul allowance.
