Banjul International Airport is at Yundum, outside the capital. A transfer described simply as 'Banjul' may not match your coastal hotel or family home. Confirm the exact address, meeting point and vehicle capacity with your host or transfer provider, including any child-seat needs.

Account for the airport security fee

FCDO lists an airport security fee on both arrival and departure, with exemptions for some passengers. Check the current amount and payment arrangements before travel. Keep a suitable payment backup: the guidance notes that card machines may be unavailable. Allow time for this airport step.

Pack for your activities and connections
