A Kigali stopover requires more planning than remaining in transit. Check whether you will enter Rwanda, collect baggage and check in again. If connecting to another country, review the next destination's documents and any conditions linked to your recent travel as well.

The airport operator directs passengers to designated taxi ranks outside the arrival gate. Reconfirm the current pickup arrangement with your chosen provider and give them your flight number as well as the landing time.
Can I include Kigali before another destination?
Ask us to check a stopover with your preferred dates. We will need the final destination and baggage requirements; you should confirm permission to enter Rwanda before arranging a stay outside the airport.
Do UK departure airports determine Rwanda entry rules?
No. Requirements depend on your passport and circumstances. FCDO entry guidance mainly addresses full British citizen passports; travellers using other documents should check with Rwanda's immigration authorities or relevant embassy.
